The Aplington Middle School office has a fresh new look thanks to Nora Balayti of Nora Kate Paints LLC!
School picture day for all 3 buildings in Thursday, September 14th. ALL students must bring their picture order form that day, even if you are not ordering pictures or if you already paid online. Please complete the envelope and send it with your child. A complimentary class composite photo will be given to all students at no cost.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the football game tomorrow night. We are requesting that you do not go around the barricades that are set up. If you are in need of parking closer to the field please let one of the supervisors know. We will assist you.
Due to transportation issues, the 6/7th & 8th grade games against Forreston on September 19th will be moved back to 4:30pm.
We are now accepting nominations for Homecoming Prince and Princess (kids ages 4-6). The Homecoming game is Friday, October 6th with the Grand March on Saturday, October 7th. If you would like to nominate someone (with their guardian's permission), please email their name and age to ejoines@poloschools.net.
Friday, September 1st (tomorrow) junior high volleyball and cross country will have pictures taken after school during practice. Please be sure to send uniforms to school!

Over 3/4 of Aplington's APO fundraising blankets have already been sold! If you're interested in purchasing one, please stop in at Aplington today. They will most likely be sold out early this week and will not be available to purchase at this Friday's football game.

Our APO Polo Marco fundraiser blankets arrived just in time for next week's 95 degree weather!
Blankets will be available to purchase starting Monday, August 21st. They are 60"x70" and incredibly soft. Each blanket is individually packaged in a vacuum sealed bag. They are $25 each and all proceeds will go towards funding field trips and PBIS activities for Aplington students. They are made in the U.S.A. by a company that is Veteran owned/teacher owned/woman owned.
Blankets will only be available to purchas at Aplington at this time. A table will be set up at next week's Varsity football game for about an hour before game time.
Cash or checks will be accepted. If you send cash in to Aplington, it must be in a sealed envelope with your child's name on it and what the money is for. Checks must be written out to APO. Checks written out to Aplington or the school district will be returned.
We only have a limited amount of blankets available so if you want one please don't delay! I'm not sure if we will have a second order or not.
