Forreston/Polo Girls Track Meet scheduled for tonight 4/13 at Lena has been canceled.
Tomorrow, April 13th at 6:30 P.M. there will be an online informational meeting for the current 7th grade students and parents regarding next year's Washington D.C. trip. An email has been sent with a link to join the meeting. You can have all of your questions answered during this time. Flyers have been added to the Aplington digital backpack with more information.
Seniors/Parents of seniors -- All Seniors must be in good standing in order to walk at the Graduation ceremony. This includes but is not limited to All Fees paid that are owed to the school, Books/Library Books/Equipment turned in on last day of school and all community service hours completed and turned in. Polo JV Softball game scheduled for tonight 4/8 is canceled. The Softball game for tomorrow 4/9 has been moved to 2:00 pm AT POLO.

To kick off spring break last week, Mrs. Phillips’ 1st graders and Ms.Ditzler’s 5th graders got together to read and play outside.
Polo HS Softball game scheduled for tonight 4/7 against Eastland has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.
4/6/22: Junior high track and field: 100 Hurdles and 100 Dash will start at 4pm
Following will be girls running events and boys field events.
Polo HS Baseball tonight @ Eastland will be Varsity and JV. Games will start at 4:00. Bus time is 2:30. Varsity BB game tomorrow is cancelled as it is being played tonight.

Centennial Elementary will be having an Open House/Book on April 28th from 5:00pm -6:00pm. Aplington Middle School and Polo High School will have an Open House from 6:00pm -7:00pm. This is a great chance for the community to come in and see all the updates that have taken place in all three schools! We look forward to seeing you!
4/6/22: There is an early dismissal today - 11:10 for the high school and Aplington and 11:15 for Centennial.

The Whiteside Area Career Center summer trades camp will be July 18th-July 28th, Monday-Thursday both weeks, 8am-11am. The cost is $50 per student and the classes will cover Automotive, Welding, Computer Technology, and Culinary Arts (two days each). You can find an application in the Aplington digital backpack. Mail your application and cash or check to WACC.
This camp is open to students entering 6th grade and up to 8th graders who are about to go on to high school.
Polo Baseball and Softball games scheduled for tonight 4/5 have been moved to Eastland. The games will start at an earlier time. Game time is 4:00 @ Eastland (Lanark).
Third quarter 8th grade Industrial Art students need to pick up their project at the high school as soon as possible.
