Polo High School Student Council will sponsor a blood drive Tuesday, February 22 from 7:30 to 12:00 in the High School Gym at 100 S. Union Ave. in Polo. The Student Council will also be holding a bake sale fundraiser throughout the blood drive in the gym.
It’s a new year and time to put your resolutions into action. Polo High School Student Council is encouraging community members to join them in donating blood as a part of your regularly scheduled routine appointments. You can schedule your donations for the entire year, like your dentist appointments. Every time you come in to donate this year, you help improve the lives of patients and their families who rely on your generosity 7 days a week, 365 days a year. In addition to saving lives, the Red Cross matches PCHS donations with scholarship funds distributed to our students so your donation has double the positive impact in our community and beyond.
Can’t make it February 22? Please mark your calendar for the next PCHS sponsored blood drive scheduled for April 28, 2022
Donors may call 946-3314 or go to the American Red Cross website to make an appointment. Walk in donors are also welcome.
The Red Cross is experiencing the worst blood shortage in over a decade. Please consider joining our local students in making a difference.
