COVID Update for the week of November 22nd.
We are starting to see our numbers rise. We had 4.5 students excluded. We still only have one positive case for the year. We had 2 positive cases this week. That brings us to a total of 3 positive cases for the year.

IHSA new rule:
Attention Jr/Sr High Parents: Due to the higher numbers across the county, Ogle County Health Department and Illinois Department of Public Health provided a Winter Sports Policy Q&A issuing parameters for athletes in the COVID protocol. This update states any unvaccinated student in testing protocol after a close contact exposure may remain in school and participate in extracurricular practices, provided tests are negative. However, to avoid mixing cohorts of students from area schools, students in testing protocol may not participate in competitions or games during the 7-day period. If your son or daughter participates in extracurricular activities, please discuss the impact of this new update and encourage students to continue masking at all times.
COVID Update for the Week of November 15th- On average 3.2 students was excluded. We still only have had one positive student for the year. 0 employees were excluded. We still only have had one positive employee for the year.
PCHS will have a pep rally tomorrow to send the Football team off to their State Championship game! Public is welcome to attend the Pep rally at PCHS. The team will be leaving directly from the gym to Centennial. Centennial will have a walk through for their students to send our team off . It will be available to view on the school Facebook page. Family and public are not to attend Centennial's event in person. Go Marcos!!
In lieu of Family Reading Night students in the upper grades read to those younger. Here are some of our 5th grade students reading to prek.
Tomorrow our High School Football team will be playing in the State Championship game for 8 man football. To support our football team please wear BLUE and GOLD tomorrow. Go Marcos!

Football Fan Bus sign is in the High School office. If you want to ride the charter fan bus please stop in the office ASAP to sign up. First come, first serve. There are only 56 spots available. Fan Bus will leave at 4:00 on Friday from the HS parking lot. You are responsible for paying for your own way into game and for any food at the game.
Middle school cheer is cancelled for the rest of this week.
