This is a reminder that most of Aplington's classes will be over at the High School today and tomorrow due to the extreme heat. Please still send a water bottle with your student to school. If you need your students to be picked up for any reason, please still call the Aplington Office at 815-946-2519 and we will ensure they are ready to go. Have a great day!

Sophomore chemistry students tried out the new virtual reality headsets today. The students entered a virtual scene where they were shipwrecked on a deserted island observing how to separate a mixture of sandy saltwater to get drinking water. The new technology made quite a splash while reinforcing chemistry concepts.
