On June 28th, you will see on the ballot that the School District has a referendum. Please know this is not a referendum for money. This has to do with whether or not the community would like to move from residence to at-large for seats on the School Board. If you vote “yes”, this means that you would like to move to at-large for seats on the Board of Education, where the only residency restriction is that they live within the Polo Community Unit School District. If you vote “no”, this means that you would like to stay with the residency representation from each of the different townships.
